With two decades of experience, Neill leads a 25-person strong design group, delivering exemplar mixed-tenure housing schemes which balance quality with affordability. Neill is an expert in public consultation and residential design, taking an active design role on many of our award-winning projects across London and the South East.

A specialist in the delivery of affordable housing, Neill regularly collaborates with local authorities to assess the development potential of Council-owned sites, helping to inform their long-term development strategies. He also has experience developing housing typologies which are designed to meet the needs of specific residents; this includes a long-term collaboration with Gravesham Borough Council to design a ‘rightsizer’ typology, offering older residents living in the area homes which are adaptable and future-proof.

Neill regularly shares his expertise by leading workshops for thought leadership organisations including Future of London, where he represents BPTW on the Council-Led Housing Forum, New London Architecture and The Housing Forum. These workshops cover pertinent issues within the architecture industry from design management for local authorities through to sustainability.

As BPTW’s quality assurance lead, Neill manages the preservation of our Quality Assurance accreditation in line with BS EN ISO 9001:2015, providing methodical, effective and process-driven project management to deliver the highest quality services for our clients and the communities we work with.
