With around 50% of our work in technical design and construction stages for developer and contractor clients, our large teams of architects and technologists deliver well-considered technical designs which successfully balance a wide range of project deliverables including material performance, sustainability, building safety, design quality and efficiency, whole-life costs, and longevity.
We utilise our construction knowledge in the early design stages to create viable, efficient and beautifully designed buildings which can be realised through the post-planning stages. We also work with a range of leading contractor clients to deliver complex large-scale regeneration schemes, designed by others, where a high level of technical expertise is required.
Collaborating with contractors
We collaborate with many industry leading contractors and developers through the later RIBA Stages. We lead large multidisciplinary design teams in fostering the exceptional communication and collaboration needed for delivering well co-ordinated buildings on time and on budget and to highest design quality standards.

BPTW’s strategic Construction Principles, Sustainability, Building Safety and Spatial Principles groups guide our design delivery to ensure best practices and innovative design and construction solutions, like the incorporation of Design for Manufacture and Assembly, while adhering to ever changing technical and regulatory standards. Our industry-leading BIM Team supports project delivery using BIM processes, like clash detection, to enhance communication and coordination for improved quality outcomes.
