Chris is a Partner and Urban Designer. Since joining BPTW in 2007, he led on many award-winning masterplanning and regeneration projects, with eight of his team’s projects shortlisted in the Housing Design Awards.

He has a passion for placemaking, as evidenced by the award-winning Rochester Riverside, a 1400-home mixed-use regeneration scheme in Medway created with locally inspired architecture and an extensive public realm. The project was crowned the 2020 Housing Design Awards ‘Winner of Winners’ award and the ‘Building for a Healthy Life’ award, a testament to the sustainable placemaking properties of the scheme which promote active travel and healthy streets, with the wellbeing of a mixed community at the centre of the design thinking.

As BPTW’s EDI lead, he is dedicated to ensuring we provide opportunities for people from all backgrounds to thrive in their careers.
