Working closely with HTA Design, Countryside and Hyde, BPTW has led on developing detailed design for the first three phases of the development.

Aiming to establish a thriving and diverse community, we have developed 489 homes of all tenures, ranging from family homes to marionettes and apartments, as well as commercial floorspace, and a new hotel. Drawing inspiration from the wider Medway area, the designs strike a balance between referencing the rich, historic fabric of the city and offering a new vibrant urban quarter. To improve connections between the town and the River Medway, Rochester Riverside is set within a network of public, open space, specifically designed for the historical riverside location.
