BPTW is looking for experienced Architectural Technologists or Architectural Assistants with experience of delivering projects at RIBA stages 3 to 6.
About Us
BPTW is an award-winning architectural and urban design practice specialising in residential-led development and mixed-use regeneration projects. Working alongside leading developers, housing associations, local authorities and private clients, our philosophy is centred on creating homes and places that transform people’s lives.
We offer an open, collaborative, and interactive working environment, which promotes the sharing of ideas and enables creativity to flourish. Teamwork is important to us, and our office culture aspires to engender inclusivity at all levels. Our workplace gender balance, recognition as one of the most diverse UK architecture studios by the AJ100, and multiple industry awards for our employment practices, reflect the benefits of our studio culture.
We are an Equal Opportunities employer with a wheelchair accessible studio and welcome applications from people of all backgrounds.
We are looking for Architectural professionals who have a high level of technical design skills and experience in leading or contributing to the later stages of project delivery.
Our ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate an excellent working knowledge of all RIBA stages, in particular stages 3 through to 6. They will have a collaborative approach to development and knowledge sharing, as well as professional, post qualification experience gained in a UK architectural practice – preferably involving the delivery of large-scale UK residential and regeneration projects.
Depending on experience, the role will include running projects from RIBA Stage 3 or working within a project team on larger delivery stage projects. The successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be proficient in the use of REVIT, CAD and hand-drawing. They will also have good knowledge of the current technical requirements, including Gateway procedures, and an interest in emerging legislation changes affecting the delivery of projects.
