30 - 06 - 2023

2023 has been an exciting year for BPTW’s specialist BIM team, which has secured new and notable commissions for our BIM Consultancy Services and Training.

Poplar HARCA

We are pleased to announce a new commission to assist the housing association Poplar HARCA with BIM implementation. To support Poplar HARCA in successfully delivering BIM Projects aligned with its working methods, BPTW is creating a suite of ISO19650 / UK BIM Framework-compliant documents specifying BIM deliverables for tender returns and assessments. The purpose is to aid and enhance the client’s effective management of its built assets upon project completion. This appointment complements BPTW’s ongoing collaboration with Poplar HARCA and Hill on the landmark Teviot Estate regeneration in Poplar, which provides circa 1750 new homes and 4500 sqm of other uses through a community co-design process.

Notting Hill Genesis

BPTW is collaborating with Notting Hill Genesis to conduct a BIM Gap Analysis and a BIM Implementation Plan. Our work will enable Notting Hill Genesis to meet the Building Safety Act requirements by using the BIM4HA’s toolkit and the HACT UK Housing Data Standards. The new implementation plan is based on the client’s needs and aligns with ISO19650 / UK BIM Framework Standards. To date, BPTW has collaborated with Notting Hill Genesis stakeholders to understand how a BIM Methodology can best support the organisation.

Outerspace

In a first for BPTW, our BIM Team is providing landscape architects Outerspace with Revit software and BIM training. In addition, we have created specialist Revit content for the company to use and a training manual to support future staff. Our future collaborations with Outerspace include writing a Revit User’s Manual and Revit templates to ensure consistency in project set-up.

Our BIM team provides information management and BIM Coordination services alongside BIM consultancy.
