We are pleased to see construction progress at Alkerden Heights in Ebbsfleet Garden City for Bellway Homes.
Inspired by the region’s prominent farming and industrial history, the scheme’s bespoke house typologies use simple, elegant proportions and feature chimneys, black weatherboarding, and red and yellow brick in reference to historic cottages and farm buildings. BPTW’s focus on considered, well-crafted design resulted in the scheme’s commendation by the planning committee for its architectural quality and shortlisting for the 2022 Housing Design Awards.
The scheme is scheduled for completion in spring 2025 and will deliver 185 mixed-tenure homes in one phase of the transformative Ebbsfleet Garden City in Kent.
