Working with design teams
Collaboration defines the way we work. Our planning team works with a variety of architects, landscape architects and specialist consultants in the design development of proposals. Recent collaborators include Assael Architects, BCA Landscape, Broadway Malyan, Buckley Gray Yeoman, Farrells, Grontmij, Hawkins\Brown, HTA, LUC, Levitt Bernstein, PTEA, RMA, The Landscape Partnership, Townshend.
Across all our work, we strive to fully understand our clients’ vision and aspirations from the outset, adapting these to the planning environment we are working in. We conduct critical planning research, using knowledge of the relevant local and national planning context to establish a planning strategy that will ensure proposals are deliverable. We place these strategic aims at the core of the planning process, as our projects progress from feasibility, through to pre-application and planning stages, and into post-planning.
We enjoy the opportunities that arise from engagement with local communities, key stakeholders and planning authorities. We recognise that managing stakeholders and ensuring their interests and concerns are addressed is an essential part of the planning process and crucial to promoting sustainable development. Often appointed as a standalone element of our service, our planning team has extensive experience leading and participating in public consultation strategies, with an approach based around pro-active participation and engagement.
