On Tuesday our HR and Social Value Lead Louise Conder, Architectural Associate Peter Sofoluke and BIM Coordinator Viorel Mihailuc held a career talk with London South East Colleges which was attended by over 100 students and staff. The session provided an insight into the life of an architect and the opportunities and pathways for young people to build a career in the industry, including an introduction to BIM and how it links to architecture.
This session forms part of a longer term industry partnership between BPTW and London South East Colleges which is centred on giving students an insight into a wide range of available careers in architecture and planning through career talks and presentations, work experience and social action. We are really pleased to be running this programme and look forward to continuing to work with the colleges throughout the year to raise awareness of the opportunities within architecture, planning consultancy and BIM.
