We would like to announce that Andy Heath has stepped down from being a partner at BPTW and will now be acting as a consultant to the practice. This step has been planned for some time and enables BPTW to continue to benefit from Andy’s considerable experience through strategic design support and advice on design quality and sustainability standards in our work.

Andy has been a partner for 16 years and throughout this period he has worked across all our design groups and has significantly contributed to the practice’s success having led a range of exciting projects across the public and private sectors. Acting as a consultant Andy will work closely with the senior management team at BPTW as we continue to design and deliver projects to the highest quality and sustainability standards.

Please read the statement below from Andy:

“I have been at BPTW for 23 years and, for well over half of this time, I have been a partner. The practice was about 20 strong when I joined, and it has been a pleasure to have played my part in our journey to becoming the award-winning practice of 130 that we are today.

Over this period, it has been a fantastic experience to work alongside so many talented and committed people across the practice, as well as the many clients, contractors, and consultants who I have had the pleasure to collaborate with over the years. I have relished having the opportunity to make  positive, creative and commercial contributions to so many successful projects and I am immensely proud of our achievement in building BPTW into a recognised leader in the housing sector.

Having given this careful thought, I now feel the time is right for me to step down from my role as a partner and I am pleased to be able to support the practice as it continues to develop.”

In the years that Andy has been with the practice BPTW has gone from strength-to-strength, and the practice has continued to secure a range of exciting and significant projects across the public and private sectors. To deliver these projects to the exceptional standards required, the practice is continuing its steady growth and is evolving to respond to the changing demands of the housing sector including the urgency of the response to climate change and bringing forward new homes that will be energy efficient and environmentally sustainable. As we tailor our services to meet the needs of our clients, Andy’s decision has given the practice the opportunity to review its operational structure and recognise the work of the growing number of talented and committed individuals within the practice who will be instrumental in driving the business forward over the coming years.
