BPTW is looking for an experienced Senior Urban Designer, with a real passion for shaping places and communities.
You will be working at the forefront of placemaking, collaborating with Local Authorities to develop council strategies, town centre visions, and community-led design that makes a real difference to people’s lives.
You will lead the delivery of ambitious, large-scale urban design projects, from site-specific development briefs and spatial strategies, to research partnerships with Government informing future planning and design guidance.
Working closely with our Partners and Directors, you will coordinate multidisciplinary teams and nurture the next generation of designers, ensuring everyone has the opportunity to grow through exposure to exciting projects, bids and competitions.
You will demonstrate a strong passion for urban design and the role it plays in shaping places and communities. You will be able to strategically plan project delivery. Creating visions and framework documents utilising your strong graphics and design skills.
As well as a proven track record in masterplanning and design codes, you will be able to bring ideas to life through compelling graphic communication, translating complex strategies into clear, inspiring visuals that engage communities, clients, and stakeholders alike. You will be comfortable communicating to a wide range of audiences.
