We are delighted to share that our collaborative submission with Farrer Huxley, Julie (Ann) Futcher, Arup, and Play:Disrupt has been longlisted for The Davidson Prize 2026.
A huge thank you to everyone involved, and special recognition to Dr Ana McMillin FRSA, whose expertise and vision were central to the success of this work. Recently appointed as a Director in BPTW’s Urban Design team, Ana brings over 20 years of experience across urban design, housing design and regeneration. Her leadership spans major housing‑led masterplans, estate regeneration, strategic urban visions, garden communities and design-led planning policy.

About The Davidson Prize
The Davidson Prize is an annual £25,000 design‑ideas competition celebrating transformative approaches to the future of the home. It champions ambitious, multidisciplinary thinking and encourages architect‑led teams to explore how innovative design can respond to today’s most pressing housing challenges.
Each year, the competition tackles a new theme. The 2026 brief—Changing the Game: Building Play into Housing—invites creative proposals that reimagine homes and neighbourhoods where inclusive play is embedded into everyday life. The theme calls for fresh ideas addressing the evolving challenges of play for people of all ages, both inside and outside the home.
We’re proud to be recognised among such inspiring teams and projects, and we look forward to sharing more as the competition progresses.
