The 6 storey marker building was developed to provide a distinct element within the development, achieved by a variation of massing and change in material treatment. The prominent building creates a new gateway to the neighbouring Clifford Road, with commercial units on the ground floor giving a much-needed active street frontage.
The mixed tenure development has a large proportion of affordable homes to meet housing demand within the borough. BPTW worked closely with our clients and the design team to develop a deliverable solution which has maximised the potential of the site. New and improved access routes as well as external public amenity and play spaces have enable the creation of a vibrant and balanced new development.
