BPTW secured planning permission for a new masterplan at Eddeva Park. Inspired by the East Anglian landscape, the development offers a sensitive urban extension to Cambridge’s city centre with 230 new homes and non-residential floor space orientated around landscaped public spaces.

Throughout the pre-application process, Cambridge City Council experienced significant resourcing issues which led to the scheme having four separate case officers within six months. To ensure consistency, BPTW provided each new case officer with notes and a briefing. This approach forged a trusting and collaborative working relationship with the council that was beneficial upon submission, ensuring there was no delay in processing the application. The masterplan received unanimous planning approval from the Council in September 2020.
