Greengate House is a 42 home development on Cave Road in Newham. The scheme, which involved the demolition of a former Newham residential care home and renovation of an existing Victorian building, provides 27 contemporary apartments and 15 houses with surrounding landscaped areas.
BPTW was responsible for providing strategic advice on the scheme and took the lead on negotiations with LB Newham who accepted the proposal at committee. The proposals were commended for maintaining the unique character of the site by retaining the features of an old Victorian school, and incorporating existing mature trees within the development. The scheme was granted planning permission at committee.
