BPTW secured planning permission for 125 new homes within a mixed use development, at an underused employment site in Walthamstow.
BPTW led the project team, conducting key meetings with various stakeholders and engaging with the community through consultation events to deliver a scheme shaped by their input.
As a result of funding constraints, BPTW had to work to tight timescales, managing the input of the consultant team in a timely manner to ensure that the information was available for review and agreement with the client team and the local authority.
Following close collaboration with the London Borough of Waltham Forest and the local community, the final proposal was successful in addressing stakeholder concerns, whilst maintaining high architectural quality and minimising the commercial impact.
