Planning approval for Pampisford Road

Following a successful appeal, this week bptw’s planners saw approval granted for the redevelopment of a former care home to create a new residential scheme at 226 Pampisford Road in South Croydon. The development, designed by bptw architecture for  Orbit Group, comprises 22 modern apartments in a three storey residential block, and 10 two storey terraced houses, with approval also secured for vehicular access, associated car parking, cycle storage, landscaping and refuse & recycling storage. 

The scheme will deliver a range of one, two and three bedroom houses and apartments for affordable tenures along with groundfloor wheelchair units. The creation of new 3D visuals by bptw visualisation was instrumental in the appeals procedure, resulting in permission being granted.
