bptw is delighted to see that our Isobel Place scheme in Tottenham has been nominated for Inside Housing’s Regeneration Scheme of the Year 2015.
The scheme, delivered in partnership with Newlon and United House was completed in 2013 as part of a strategy to safeguard the adjacent Edwardian grade II listed Tottenham Town Hall. Isobel Place, situated on the backland site of the former Clyde Road Depot, delivers 109 family homes. The development was sensitively designed to complement its historical context, with apartment blocks arranged around two large south facing courtyards, providing amenity space for residents.
Along with Tottenham Town Hall, the development was named Best Heritage Led Project at the London Planning Awards and also was shortlisted for the First Time Buyers Readers Awards. With only a handful of schemes being nominated, this is a great achievement deserving a big congratulations for the many people who worked on the projects’ various stages. The winner will be announced in October this year.
