bptw’s scheme for Isobel Place and Tottenham Town Hall has been highly commended at the recent Inside Housing Top 60 Awards. Hosted at the Lancaster, London, the awards cover 10 categories and celebrate the innovative deliverance of new homes in the UK, with the winning schemes selected by a host of senior housing and regeneration professionals. Our development came in second in the Regeneration Scheme of the Year category and was praised by the judging panel with Simon Nicol, director, Building Research Establishment commenting ,“A well-executed refurbishment of old industrial/civic buildings. Great workmanship offers homes where there were none before and improves the visual appeal, security and property values.”
Constructed on the site of a derelict former depot behind Grade II listed Edwardian Tottenham Town Hall, Isobel Place provides 109 high-spec affordable homes in a mix of shared ownership and social rent housing. The scheme was delivered as part of a strategy to safeguard the adjacent Town Hall.
