We are thrilled to welcome our new Planning Director, Jill McGregor, to BPTW’s Planning Consultancy Team. With 18 years of planning consultancy experience, Jill brings extensive knowledge of residential and commercial development in London and the South East and experience working with a varied client base, including Local Authorities, Registered Providers, private developers and charities. Alongside BPTW Planning Partner, Gerry Cassidy, Jill will expand our planning capabilities and enhance our service provision for new clients and sectors.
Jill enjoys the challenge of developing and delivering high-quality planning results and has a proven record of successfully adding value to development proposals, from the feasibility stage to consultation, planning permission, appeal, and Judicial Review. She has a commercial approach to planning strategy and project management and is well-respected for the excellent rapport she builds with clients, the GLA and local authorities. Jill joins from Stantec UK and previously held roles at CBRE and GL Hearn.
Her recent project successes include a resolution to grant planning permission for a 516-home estate regeneration in Southall, Ealing, on behalf of PA Housing; planning permission for two estate infill developments totalling 201 homes for the City of London Corporation; and planning permission for 168 homes on multiple sites for LB Hounslow including the refurbishment, alteration, and extension of a Grade II listed building. Jill has also contributed to many commercial projects, including a resolution to grant planning permission for a 27,000 sqm data centre for Global Switch and an increase to the approved floorspace of an outline permission for a new data centre for Telehouse Europe, both in East India Dock, Tower Hamlets.
