bptw staff support charities this Christmas

Posted: 06.01.2016

As part of our Giving Something Back initiative staff at bptw chose 12 charities to support this Christmas, donating £2,500 in total.

At what is now an annual event taking place in December as part of our Christmas celebrations, each table at our staff Christmas lunch was given £200 to donate to charity. Staff were asked to donate £100 of that money to one of a number of causes bptw have supported in recent years, with the remaining £100 donated to any charity of the table’s choosing. The amount ‘raised’ was topped up to £2,500 and we are delighted to confirm that the following charities are receiving between £100 and £400 each:

Alzheimer’s Society
Bloodwise (formerly Leukemia & Lymphoma Research)
The Bridge, Greenwich
British Heart Foundation
Cancer Research
Greenwich Night Shelters
Marie Curie Cancer Care
Motor Neurone Disease Association

We would like to thank all of our staff for their participation and support for all of the charities chosen this year.
