bptw is committed to making a positive contribution to society and the communities in which we work. As part of our CSR policy we set up our ‘giving something back’ initiative, nominating elected charities and organisations to support through percentage-of-profits donations, as well as investment through volunteering and fundraising activities. We support two local charities; the 999 Club and the Greenwich Night Shelter as well as several regular events including the AHOY Centre Meridian Pull and a number of national charity events such as the Big Red Box drive and Macmillan's Bake off for Red Nose Day. The practice often matches money raised supporting individual members of staff in their fundraising efforts for charities including MNDA, Centrepoint and Shelter.
bptw also actively support the local and architectural community through work experience programmes with local schools and colleges, and student mentoring, as well as sponsoring events by organisations such as WISH (Women in Social Housing) and undertaking pro-bono work to support local community initiatives.
