Oak Wharf

bptw partnership has designed a new mixed use development for a neglected site in the London Borough of Hackney.

Comprising 75 residential units for mixed tenure accommodation, including rented, private sale and shared ownership properties, a commercial space and a new educational facility for the Beis Malka Secondary School.

Set over three storeys, the school provides over 190 places for students and has created up to 30 new employment prospects in the local area.

The contemporary design will feature robust brick cladding, textured with timber panel and coloured render features. Landscaped areas and public spaces will integrate pedestrian thoroughfares through the development and school to provide safe and easy access to the river frontage.
