bptw's planning team is advising on Bell Green phase 3 in Sydenham. Situated on a prominent corner site on a former gas works, the development will comprise 178 mixed tenure residential units and commercial space. Designed to gain maximum light, the dwellings have either south facing or dual aspect rooms. Amenity space has been designed as a first floor amenity deck and will be sensitively landscaped to offer a relaxing area for residents to share.
Bell Green aims to incorporate sustainable measures into the scheme to provide 24% carbon savings over the building regulations standards. This will be achieved by using renewables energy in the form of biomass, together with CHP and sustainable building approaches.
