Tottenham Town Hall

bptw has recently completed the restoration of the Grade II Listed Tottenham Town Hall.

Working to provide a focus for the community, public and key stakeholder engagement was undertaken throughout the project. In the early stages bptw established links with English Heritage, Haringey Council Conservation and local groups including the Civic Society, who played a key part in the development of the refurbishment project.

In addition, a public exhibition for local Tottenham residents was displayed in the town hall. Boards illustrated potential designs and ideas for the refurbishment of the Grade II listed town hall and new homes to the rear of the site, along with the transformation of the surrounding public space. bptw’s architects were on hand to discuss proposals and listen to feedback.

The thorough consultation process has resulted in a building which has functional spaces for small businesses, an MP’s surgery, flexible meeting spaces and the potential for a community café.
