Heathside and Lethbridge

Currently, bptw is working on the large phased regeneration of the Heathside and Lethbridge Estates involving the provision of over 1200 new homes, shops and high quality landscaped amenity spaces.

With residents in situ, consultation has been a key part of the design development process. Set over 5 phases, bptw has worked with different groups of residents and key stakeholders to run tailored exhibitions and open days to communicate proposals and listen to feedback.

The events held have involved residents of all ages, with face painting and art competitions for the younger residents. For the less junior residents, exhibition boards illustrated: new designs, different materials for façade treatments, house and flat types with layout plans, amenity spaces and new road layouts. In addition to the exhibition boards, leaflets were handed out as part of the consultation events for residents to take away and read in more detail about the proposed plans.
