Stockwell Park and Robstart Village

bptw partnership has been appointed to develop the masterplan for the regeneration of Stockwell Park and Robstart Village estate in South London.

Comprising approximately 550 new build and 532 refurbishment properties, the chief aims of the masterplan are to provide sustainable new homes, refurbish existing homes and provide environment and landscape improvements across the neighbourbood.

Social, economic and environmental sustainability of the neighbourhood is a paramount concern, with proposals that aim to create a cohesive public realm across the area. Secured By Design standards are integrated throughout the design. Links with established routes to local amenities and public transport are reinforced.

Existing trees will be retained throughout the neighbourhood to provide a mature setting enhanced with extensive new street tree planting.

Cycle stores provide an environmentally friendly and economically efficient option for transport.

The new build properties will be served by a CHP plant and renewable energy targets of 10% on-site will be met. The proposals will also incorporate a public art and sustainable urban drainage strategy.
