Ordsall Estate

bptw partnership’s masterplan for the redevelopment of a large housing estate near the Old Trafford football ground has provided an aspirational vision for the local community.

Following an extensive consultation programme including walking audits and design workshop meetings, bptw partnership has considered the treatment of the site within the context of the wider area and sought to resolve issues of movement and access to facilities.

The masterplan proposes new travel and pedestrian routes thorough the residential neighbourhood, and improvements to local facilities including open spaces, traffic calming measures and an environment conducive to safe and attractive pedestrian pathways.
