



Station Approach, Pitsea
bptw partnership’s Station Approach scheme in Pitsea has successfully been granted planning permission.
On a key corner site in the centre of Pitsea, Essex, the new development comprises 121 high quality residential units, with a raised podium garden to the rear of the building.
Five commercial units situated on the ground floor provide opportunities for local businesses, one particular corner unit is ideally suited for a café with space for extra tables and chairs on the pavement.
The aims for this scheme were clear: to improve the public realm of the site, provide safer pedestrian routes along the shops and up to the station and improve business activity in the centre of town. As a result, the new designs for the Station Approach scheme vastly improve the visual appearance of the area and ensure the architectural continuity of the street.
