Five Links

bptw partnership won an invited bid to provide masterplanning services for the Five Links Estate in Basildon.

bptw’s proposals aim to transform the run down estate to create an exciting, lively neighbourhood. The Five Links Estate will be provided with over 1000 new homes, with a good mix of affordable accommodation and many larger houses for families. Lack of amenity space will be addressed with numerous shared green spaces and parks. Private amenity will be provided in the form of gardens or flats.

New roads, cycle paths and footpaths will be formed to create clear links and defined zones across the estate. Access to public transport will also be improved with easily accessible routes. Secure parking will be designed to be less intrusive and will not dominate the streets.
