Lyme Grove

Lyme Grove, just off Mare Street on Loddiges Road in Hackney is a new build development for London and Shoreditch Housing Association; a leading member of the North River Alliance.

The scheme offers 36 mixed tenure new homes comprising one and two bedroom apartments and three and four bedroom houses. The ground floor dwellings have private gardens and other units offer amenity space in the form of balconies or roof terraces.

The project utilises a variety of materials including brick, zinc cladding and aluminium windows. The iconic building steps from four to eight storeys and successfully fits in with the surrounding context.

The development, which has achieved Code for Sustainable Homes Level 3, incorporates a green roof with photovoltaics along with rainwater harvesting.
