bptw partnership has designed twenty-four new apartments and mews houses for a new development on the former site of the Maze Hill School in Greenwich, London.

The townhouses provide spacious three bedroom family homes arranged as semi-detached properties with private gardens and designated parking, while the one and two bedroom apartments feature elegant balconies offering views over London and access to a roof terrace and landscaped communal grounds.

Contemporary in design and sympathetic to surrounding historical architecture, the development features copper, timber, brick and render cladding, with luxury interior fittings. Axis is located conveniently for local amenities, transport links, restaurants and cafes, and the rich history of Greenwich and the neighbouring Royal Park.

Axis was shortlisted for the Housing Design Awards in 2005.
