The practice has extensive experience in the design and delivery of different types of accommodation for older people, comprising facilities for frail elderly and people with dementia, extra care homes, through to CCRC (continuing care retirement communities) as well as the design of housing to attract the over 60’s population to facilitate the release of under-occupied housing stock for reallocation.

The approach taken by bptw partnership for extra care schemes is centred on providing a ‘home for life’ for older people with a variety of individual needs, where they can move through a ‘progressive care’ system as and when is needed without abandoning the community with which they are familiar.
