Priory Court

A key component of the vision for a new residential neighbourhood in the London Borough of Waltham Forest, bptw partnership’s design for the Priory Court community centre forms part of the overall masterplan for this large-scale regeneration scheme.

Local residents and the community played an integral role in the design development for the centre through an extensive consultation programme. Sleek in design, featuring robust building materials, a dramatic sloped roof and extensive glazing, this technologically equipped community facility provides local residents with a highly beneficial resource.

The Priory Court Community Centre comprises multiple information technology suites and an all-weather sports pitch and adventure playground has been created in the space adjacent to the building. The project has responded to the needs of long-established and new residents in Waltham Forest as a result of extensive community consultation and partnering initiatives.
