Working on behalf of Essential Land, bptw’s architects worked alongside bptw’s planners to develop exciting plans for the historic Sittingbourne Paper Mill and a connected wharf site in Kent.
Our planning team were successful in securing outline planning permission for the £95million mixed use regeneration project which will provide up to 200 new homes, landscaped amenity spaces, a Morrison’s supermarket, retail park, and leisure and community facilities.
The development will act as catalyst for the wider regeneration of Sittingbourne town centre and provide much needed high quality family housing. Improvements to the public realm will open up the area to the public with safe and attractive links for pedestrians and cyclists.
