Peachy House, Ilford, Essex
bptw planning was appointed by Swan New Homes to provide strategic planning advice and project mange a re-submission for the redevelopment of a prominent site in the heart of Ilford town centre. Peachy house provides 141 residential units and commercial floorspace within three architecturally significant tall buildings. The redevelopment scheme is set to transform this section of Ilford town centre to provide a high quality, mixed use, residential-led development as part of the wider regeneration of the town.
bptw was appointed as lead consultant, providing strategic planning advice and successfully leading on discussions with the GLA and local planning authority, resulting in a recommendation for approval. bptw also successfully renegotiated the writing-off of a historic £4.2m planning obligation. The application was approved at committee on the 8th July 2014.
