Working on the redevelopment of the Cannon Wharf Business Centre in South London, bptw were appointed by Barratt London to provide planning advice in relation to securing a Deed of Variation to a S106, make changes to the approved scheme, and provide strategy advice to secure successful implementation in line with their new requirements for the development. Planning permission was originally granted for the demolition of existing buildings on Cannon Wharf to facilitate the construction of a variety of large and medium scale buildings comprising 6,588m2 of commercial space and 679 residential units along with an on-site energy centre, 401 car parking spaces, cycle parking and associated landscaping.

Following the submission of the Deed of Variation, bptw were subsequently appointed to apply for variations to a number of conditions, including securing elevation changes as well as the formal submission of a standalone planning application to increase the number of residential units through additional storeys.
