bptw secured planning permission for a new high quality mixed use development on the site of the George Public House in Catford. We were able to secure two planning permissions on this site, one for 35 residential units and commercial space fronting Rushey Green, and a further permission for 33 residential units with an increased amount of commercial space.
The 6 storey development has delivered a contemporary residential and retail scheme including landscaping, private and communal amenity space, car parking and secure cycle parking spaces. bptw’s involvement was key in demonstrating to the local council how the development successfully fits in with the surrounding context which is characterised by two-storey residential properties to the east of the site.
