The final phase of the latest stage in the Clapham Park Homes redevelopment was handed over recently, following completion on site last month. bptw was employed by contractor Rydon to deliver detailed technical design for M2/M3, a two-phase construction of 113 new homes with a landscaped courtyard, underground car parking and two commercial units. The project was recently presented with a Green Apple Award, recognising environmental best practice on the delivery of the scheme.
The handover follows on from bptw’s delivery of earlier phases on C2, H4 and H5 for contractor Wates. Metropolitan’s regeneration of the Clapham Park Estate is the largest regeneration project in Lambeth and, when complete, will provide 2,480 new homes and 975 refurbished properties over a mixture of tenures, along with numerous commercial and community buildings.
