Hats, Scarves and Gloves donation for The Greenwich Foodbank

Posted: 17.12.2014

This week, as part of our commitment to giving something back, bptw continued its ongoing support of The Greenwich Foodbank by arranging a donation of three large boxes of hats, scarves and gloves to help local families in need this winter.

The Greenwich Foodbank was set up in 2013 and is one of many UK foodbanks run in partnership with The Trussell Trust, a charitable organisation aimed at tackling increasing poverty and exclusion in the UK. Greenwich Foodbank is currently distributing food and provisions through a number of Welcome Centres in the borough. You can find more information about their work here.

This donation came about thanks to bptw partner Alan Wright’s brother Philip Wright who is based in the North-West. Philip runs the UK's leading supplier of on trend fashion accessories and this generous donation will go a long way to providing warmth and comfort for local families this winter.
