bptw is pleased to announce that construction work on our new studios in Greenwich is at an advanced stage, with the external cladding now attached to the 9 storey building envelope. Conceived by bptw to enable the redevelopment of our former office building, the mixed use development overlooking Deptford Creek will create 2 floors of studio space for the practice, along with 85 well designed and spacious new mixed tenure apartments and live-work accommodation.
The development was sold to Family Mosaic after planning permission was secured and is currently being marketed as Charters Wharf, with bptw recently commissioned to create new 3D visuals for the marketing of the new homes. Designed in BIM, the scheme is being constructed by contractor Durkan with our architects overseeing the detailed design.
We are currently finalising the details for the fit-out of our studios, with the designs being undertaken by staff across the practice. Work on site is expected to be complete by mid 2016 with the studio fit-out complete and ready for occupation in early 2017 when bptw are due to return to the site.
