Following a successful appearance at committee this week, bptw's planners secured permission for the major redevelopment of a site on Blackhorse Lane. The mixed used development, designed by PTEa, will provide 483 one to four bed apartments and maisonettes, and a 519 unit student accommodation building, along with additional retail, community and employment floorspace and a café.
The 2.8ha Mandora site is located just north of Blackhorse Road Underground and Overground Station and is currently occupied by a number of large industrial and office buildings.
From the outset of the project, bptw were responsible for providing expert planning advice, for the submission of planning policy representations and handling the submission of the full planning application which was approved on the 10th of september with the Chair commenting that it was the largest scheme they had ever had at committee.
