bptw’s architects are taking part in a community project to assist Mulgrave Primary School, Woolwich in developing a vacant building which will be refurbished to create a local community centre. The Mulgrave Community Learning Hub will allow the school to expand the services it can offer to local children and their families, creating a friendly social space which will be used for a host of community and learning activities. Our architects have undertaken initial feasibility studies and concept designs for the building on Artillery Place in Woolwich, also conducting consultation events with parents and local residents who are inputting into the design, naming and use of the venue. It is envisaged that the proposals developed will assist in securing funding to allow Mulgrave Primary School and its partners in progressing with their plans for the building.
The project is being delivered in partnership with Mulgrave Children’s Centre, L&Q, Charlton Athletic Community Trust, Greenwich Co-operative Development Agency & Public Health and Well-being , and the Royal Borough of Greenwich.
