Reynard Mills, Brentford

Reynard Mills, designed in Revit for client Notting Hill Housing, delivers 195 mixed tenure units in a range of family houses, mews houses and spacious apartments, with a high proportion reserved for private sale. The scheme also provides commercial space currently allocated to a crèche.

Buildings within the development meet Code for Sustainable Homes Level 4 and Lifetimes Homes standards, and are centred around clearly defined character spaces. Reflecting the neighbouring context with a largely brick led scheme, visual interest is created through a mix of red and yellow brick with elements of cladding and coloured front doors. The former BBC site’s historical context is alluded through the retention of an existing pediment that is to be transferred to mews houses within the new development.

Generous amenity space is provided through landscaped play areas and communal and private gardens whilst streets follow Homezone principles with hard and soft landscaping to further emphasize the community feel of the development.
