Cross Street, Chatham

This high quality residential scheme involves the demolition of a sheltered housing block and office building to facilitate the construction of one 5 storey and three 4 storey residential buildings. In total 50 new homes will be provided, all with access to associated car parking and landscaped areas. The scheme has been designed to complement the local surroundings; varied building heights enhance the existing urban grain of the area, taking into account the surrounding built form and massing of the existing buildings. The new unified brick facade references proportions and materials found in the historic buildings of Chatham in a contemporary setting.
